Experiencia negativa: ________________________________________ ABSOLUTELY HEARTBREAKING AND UNACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved 16-year-old dog, Bruno. Wanting his final moments to be peaceful, we arranged for a home euthanasia with Dr. Giedre Petkauskaite for Wednesday, 28th May at 3:00 pm. She confirmed the time, and my husband, son, and I all took time off work to be there for Bruno’s final moments. At 3:00 pm, we received a message saying she had had a busy morning and wouldn’t arrive until after 6:00 pm — no apology, no acknowledgment of the emotional weight of the situation. She eventually arrived at 6:30 pm and the first thing she said was that she wasn’t going to charge us for the out-of-hours call. That set the tone — as though this delay was a favour to us, rather than her responsibility. During the procedure, Bruno was injected in his painful arthritic hindquarters not once, but twice, causing him to yelp in pain and go into visible distress and then he proceeded to have a seizure. When I asked what was happening, the vet said we had to “turn him over." There was no comfort, no empathy, no explanation as to why this might be happening. When Bruno finally passed after a very distressing few minutes for both him and us, her next words were: “Can I have his passport?” followed almost immediately by, “How do you want to pay?” — utterly cold and transactional. I told her I’d make the transfer once his body had been removed, to which she seemed displeased. Her parting comment: “I have to go now as I have to treat animals that are alive.” This was devastating to hear at such an emotional time. Perhaps it was a misinterpretation as English is not her first language, but it was said, nevertheless. The cremation service was no better. A young man showed up with a plastic bag and a large Stanley toolbox to carry him on! At least he showed some compassion and gently advised us not to watch. But the overall experience was deeply traumatic for my family. What should have been a peaceful goodbye was turned into a cold, chaotic, and upsetting ordeal. Dr. Giedre showed a complete lack of empathy or professionalism throughout. It felt entirely about the money, not the welfare of Bruno or our family. I understand that emergencies happen, but the way she handled the delay, the procedure, and the aftermath was unacceptable. Please think twice before trusting this vet for end-of-life care. Our family is grieving not just the loss of Bruno, but the manner in which his final moments were handled. He deserved better! ________________________________________
I understand your pain and Im sorry that it looked for you so stressfull. Medicine for sedation is a bit painfull as it is injectable in the muscles, but it is exactly the same what we are giving for premedication before surgeries, unfortunately I can not make them totaly nonpainfull. Also as I sad your dog was many days on high pain level, it produces hypersensitivity, in any case it wasn't something different than for any other dog or cat. To be clear our appointment wasn't scheduled, you asked me to give it immediately and I told you that I have many emergencies for today from the morning till the 8 p.m, but I will try to do my best and to fit you in. Hopefully I will manage to do it at 3 p.m, but because as I said it is emergency calls it is difficult to know what it is going on woth animal and how long it could take..Your dog had seizure for 10 seconds, not minutes, that why I told you to lay him down on the side, not with twisted head on your knees, he immediately relaxed.
Obviously I need passport for paparwork and payment after procedure. Even if you are stressed you have to pay, and not after when Im leaving. I believe in any institution you are not saying for people that you will pay in some time later. Im realy sorry about your feelings and stress to say goodbye.

Experiencia fantástica: Cuando eres el papá o la mamá de un gato, y no solo de uno sino de toda una familia de gatos, te alegras de que haya alguien que te visite en casa. Giedre Petkauskaite (Veterinaria a Domicilio Marbella) realizó una cirugía sin ningún tipo de complicaciones y su diagnóstico y tratamiento resultaron ser siempre correctos. Ella se toma el tiempo suficiente para los animales y para explicar todo a los padres de las mascotas. ¡La recomiendo encarecidamente!

Experiencia negativa: A pesar de haber tenido una pésima experiencia, no escribo esta reseña por mí, sino porque me preocuparía que otro animal estuviera en manos de esta persona. Muy poco profesional, ignorante, fría e insensible. No la recomiendo.
